How do i grow a Bonsai Tree from seed?
I live in South Africa and would like to grow a few bonsai trees from seed, such as an apple tree, palm tree and bamboo.
Where do i start with each tree and also how do i start with bamboo as it does not have seeds?
Will it be hard to grow any of these bonsai trees? If so, could one suggest a easy bonsai to grow from seed. Please keep in mind i live in South Africa.
One last thing, are there any tips or any thing else you think i should know when growing a bonsai tree?

Bamboo is a grass so you will have dig a small piece up. Don’t worry about growing from seed, dig up a seedling/ sapling.
Place in a shallow dish with poor soil (as will stunt the growth) and wire the plant to the shape you desire. As it secondary thickens the tree will take on that shape.
Some say if you gently bend the tree at the base from time to time the the tree will put on reaction wood making it thick and old looking.
