Bonsai Tool

bonsai tool
Is it necessary to Buy Bonsai shears?

I recently bought a Juniper Bonsai for around $30.
I went online to buy fertilizer, a humidity tray, and shears.
Overall, it’s going to cost me $50.
It doesn’t seem rational to spend more on tools for an object than the original thing, does it?
So, do I really need Bonsai Shears? Or can I just use my fingers or scissors/tweezers?
I just don’t want to put $50 into tools for it.

Oh, and is wiring a necessary thing, or not?

Thanks!
It’s a Juniper Bonsai if that changes anything.

No. the bonsai shears are not needed. It is best to pinch a juniper. Scissors can turn some of them brown when they are used in certain places.
Wiring is not needed either. The site tells how and what to look for.
The Bonsai Tools are a way to make money.
